How do I get to Chalet View Lodge?
The address of Chalet View Lodge is 72056 CA-70, Blairsden-Graeagle, CA 96103. The best airports are Reno (1 hr drive), Sacramento (2.5 hr drive), or San Francisco and Oakland (4 hr drive). If driving from the Bay Area or Sacramento, you will drive to Truckee and head north. It may look like you’re in the middle of nowhere, but persevere! It’s worth the drive!

Will I need to get a rental car?
We recommend everyone who is flying gets a rental car for your group, as it is a minimum of an hour drive from the closest airport (Reno). Ubers won’t be sufficient. If you would like suggestions of who you can share a rental car with, please reach out to Katie or Mary and we can connect you with other guests.

Can I bring my kids? Can I bring a +1?
Kids are more than welcome at our wedding weekend - just make sure you fill out the registration form so we know who is coming! As for additional guests, if there’s someone you would like to bring that wasn’t on your original booking please reach out to one of us!

What should I pack?
Here is our suggested packing list. The main things to remember are Thursday night (if applicable): bring some neon athletic clothes (white, pink, yellow, and green work best) for a blacklight surprise; Friday: bring a swimsuit and something for our Country Disco; and Saturday: the dress code for the ceremony and reception is semi-formal. Think summer dresses or dress shirts with or without a tie.

What is the schedule of events?
Visit katieandmary.com/schedule to see the full schedule of events. Some times are TBD and will be announced at check-in. For those arriving Thursday, check-in is at 4pm and dinner will start at 6pm, so ideally you’d arrive between 4-6pm. For those arriving Friday, many of us will already be on property so you are welcome to arrive anytime that day. Note your room may not be ready until 4pm. Dinner Friday night will also be at 6pm, so we’d love for all guests to arrive by then.
